This was one of my first Hawaiian music gigs, and we brought Hawaii to Fire Island. My brother Chris and I played Hawaiian slack key guitar instrumentals and then sang hula standards for three dancers at the cocktail party. We made a weekend of it.
DECADE: 10 Years Of The Fire Island Dance Festival featured renown dancers, and we enjoyed watching so many premiere dance companies. Alan Cumming was emcee.
