March is my birth month so it was a tremendous birthday treat to be invited to join HAPA for a 4-song hana hou at their show in Blackwood, New Jersey. Thank you Barry Flanagan, Ron Kualaʻau, and Tarvin Makia!
HAPA played an energetic set of Hawaiian music, the group’s first time at Camden County College’s Dennis Flyer Theatre stage. “An Evening With HAPA” was presented by Mainstage Center for the Arts. My friend and Blackwood native Bill Wynne, best known for his exceptional Hawaiian falsetto singing, was the opening act.
What an evening of Hawaiian entertainment in New Jersey!
